Germany: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Convention expects 30,000 participants for their annual gathering
This year also the Muslim Khalifa, the head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has arrived from London, UK to participate in the convention.
The convention (Jalsa Salana) will take place from June 24 to 26, 2011 in Karlsruhe.
Frankfurt: The annual convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Germany, the Jalsa Salana, will be held this year in the Messe Karlsruhe area.
The Jalsa Salana, the largest regularly scheduled annual gathering of the Muslims in Germany, is expected to draw about 30,000 participants from Germany and arround the world.
The Khalifa of Islam and the head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has arrived fromn London, UK to participate in the convention.
During the Jalsa Salana, speeches on various aspects of Islamic teachings and about lives of emminant Muslim personalities will be delivered.
The partcipants will pray for the peace to take hold in the world.
This year again many delegations from various countries are expected to arrive in Germany to participate in the convention.
The National vice president and Missionary incharge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, USA, Maulana Naseem Mahdi has traveld to Gernmany where he is slated to address the gathering on Saturday evening.
The highlights of the Jalsa Salana will be the Friday sermon by His Holiness Hazrat Ahmad, a speech by him specifically to the women participant of the convention, and his closing speech to all participants of the convetion on Sunday.
A special meeting of His Holiness is scheduled with non-Muslim guests on Saturday
