How to Make money Online Quick

The challenge of finding a means to earn money on-line quick may be compared to the challenge of getting someone to read an e-mail quick. As soon as you send an e-mail, there is no guarantee that it will be read in the next 5 minutes, or perhaps in the next five hours. In the same way, as soon as you offer an item for sale on-line, there is no assurance that your offer will be noticed in the next 5 minutes or perhaps the next five hours.
One approach to be successful in the effort to make money on-line quick requires an extensive use of links. If one has a website that’s linked to numerous other web sites, then one stands a better chance of getting an internet user looking at the information on your web site. As soon as an internet user gets to your website, then he or she can purchase something from your web site.
Design your ads to encourage a quick purchase by the internet viewer. If the internet user purchases something from your website, then you will obtain some added income from that website. If the internet viewer makes a hasty purchase, then you are better able to earn money on-line quick.
Nonetheless the ability to generate income online fast is no assurance that you can keep that money. If a rash purchase demonstrates unsatisfactory, the internet user is likely to want to return the purchased item. A returned item would imply returning to the buyer the money that was once received quickly.
If your website provides something that people can download, then that, also, is a way to generate income online fast. You can have people download music, a movie or perhaps an entire book. This kind of books are called e-books. Even though it can take some time to make, as soon as created an e-book is an excellent way to make money on-line fast.
Remember that the internet is used primarily as a source of information. The majority of the people that go online are looking for some type of information. If they are able to get all the information quickly, compiled in an e-book, then they’re apt to buy that e-book. You might then be able to celebrate the fact that you’ve found a way to make money online quick.
Obviously the speed with which you can make money from an e-book will rely on your ability to market that e-book. Tell all your friends regarding your e-book. Think about sending out an e-mail announcing its availability. Numerous e-book writers put out a monthly newsletter. In that newsletter, they highlight the offerings of their e-book.
Newsletter readers learn about the e-book. Some of the readers purchase it. This helps the writer to make money online quick.

Make Money Online With a Website

Make Money Online With a Website

I've been earning a full-time living as an affiliate marketer since 2006. The pic below shows me holding a check from the SiteSell affiliate program. This was a month's worth of earnings from January 2008.

As an affiliate marketer, I create websites that teach via information and video. Then I make money online by referring my audience to products and services that relate to my sites.

That's what affiliate marketing is in a nutshell. Most affiliate programs are free to join, but the catch is you have to learn to build and market your website. This is where the challenge comes in.

Yes, I make it look easy, but that's because I love what I do and this more than just money for me. Don't be mislead by the large checks. I've put in time to make this work. If you're looking for this to happen overnight, you are on the wrong site and in the wrong frame of mind.

How to Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

First, watch the video below that gives you an overview of affiliate marketing and how I use it to make money online with my websites. Then follow the links below for more help.

I owe a big part of my success to Ken Evoy, president of SiteSell.com. His book Make Your Content PREsell (now free!) and groundbreaking, site-building system Site Build It! changed the way I approach my entire business.

I learned that making money online goes far beyond just "putting up a website" and expecting money to roll in. You have to understand marketing and how to turn your visitors into customers. There is a process to all of this.

6 Ways to Increase Your AdSense Earnings

6 Ways to Increase Your AdSense Earnings

There are many ways to optimize your AdSense earnings. If you aren't experimenting with things like placement, color, layout, size and other variables, you could be leaving a lot of money on the table.

I increased my earnings by 20% just by following some of the tips mentioned in my video below.

SBI! Websites Perform Very Well With AdSense

Site Build It! was created long before AdSense was born, but the core lessons of this all-in-one site building system make it the perfect fit for the Google AdSense program.

Why?

Because SBI! teaches you how to build income through contextual content websites (like this one) and the AdSense program is perfect for these kinds of sites.

The reason SBI! is so unique from other web hosts, is they actually teach you how to market your site, unlike the cheaper hosts that equip you with a gazillion amount of server space (that you'll never use) and a "good luck!"

Many people have commented on my YouTube channel saying "Adsense doesn't work." Most of these folks just haven't learned how to draw enough targeted traffic to their websites so they assume no one is making any money with the program.

AdSense definitely works, and I receive the checks every month to prove it, but you have to learn how to work the program and it all starts with how much traffic you have.

So if you're not happy with your site's traffic and would like to try a different kind of host with guidance (video guide, brainstorming tools, SEO help and more), learn more about why Site Build It! is such a great fit for AdSense.

Also, check out all the top-ranked websites that use Site Build It!.

6 Ways to Make Money on the Internet

Ways to Make Money on the Internet

There are several ways to make money online. Hopefully this article will help you decide which method is best for you.

Need Money Quickly?

Before you even read this article, please watch my video below about having the right mentality before you begin.

Too many people come to this site looking for an "easy" or "quick" way to make money and there is no such thing. So please watch this video for a reality check.

Below the video you'll find different ways you can make money on the Internet.

1. Become an Affiliate

This is the only way I've ever made money on the Internet and one of the most convenient. As an affiliate you refer your audience to various company websites, and when a sale is made you earn a commission.

You are the middleman (or middlewoman) so you don't have to deal with customer service, taking orders, etc. The companies you become affiliated with provide you with a tracking link to use to link to their site. That's how they track how many sales you've generated.

Almost all affiliate programs are free to join. It usually involves filling out a sign-up form and within moments the company sends you the links you need to use on your site or blog.

The key is to choose a subject you love (hobby, passion, topic, etc.) and build a content-rich, informative site or blog about it.

Finally, you can go to sites like AssociatePrograms.com to search for related affiliate programs to join and promote from your site.

Here's an example. Say you love fishing. You could create a "how to" site on fishing that provides all the tips and techniques one needs to become a successful fisherman.

First you'd have to read up on SEO (search engine optimization) to learn how to get your pages ranked high in Google, Yahoo, Live, etc.

Then you'd make money by joining affiliate programs that offer fishing related products. Link to these products from your site and earn commissions when your visitors buy through your links.

You can also earn money from programs like Google AdSense or having other Webmasters advertise on your site. The possibilities are endless! Thousands of people (including myself) make a living from affiliate marketing.

2. Sell Your Own Product (Hard Goods)

This is often the most common method people think of when it comes to making money online. In fact, many people think it's the best way to earn a solid, long-term income.

I do agree that it can be the most lucrative approach, since having your own product means you directly control how much profit you make.

However, there can be some headaches with this method. For example, you are in charge of everything. Selling your own product means you are responsible for customer service, collecting orders/payments (credit cards), developing and shipping the product, etc.

Note: Thanks to companies like PayPal, the "collecting payment" part has gotten a lot easier.

In addition, it's usually a good idea to setup some kind of business name, although it is not necessary.

Selling a product can be a lot of work, especially if you're new to marketing. However, once those sales start rolling in, you can build a steady, long-term income.

3. Sell Your Own Product (E-Goods)

An e-good (short for electronic good) is a digital product that can be easily transferred or downloaded via the Internet.

No need to worry about running out of inventory because the digital format rewards you with an unlimited supply of your product!

Lots of Netpreneurs sell e-goods because they are much easier to manage. You don't have to ship the products. Customers can either download the product immediately after ordering, or they can be sent via e-mail.

E-books are the most common type of digital good sold on the Internet. They are often created with software like Adobe Professional (PDF) and then uploaded to the Net with ease.

Jim Edwards created a useful guide that shows you how to create your own e-book in 7 days.

When I bought the book, I had to admit I was a little surprised. I am normally very suspicious of these "how to" books because they often contain regurgitated facts you can find anywhere on the web for free.

Jim's book is different. There are over 180 pages of useful information and even interviews from other authors sharing their experiences with selling their own e-books. So you can learn and get ideas from them.

Jim also gives you excellent advice on how to pick the right topic for your e-book. So if you're thinking, "I don't know enough about anything to write a good book." Think again. I bet Jim will change your view and fill your head with ideas.

I highly recommend getting this book if this option entices you. You can download the book right after you order. Click here for details.

4. Start an eBay Auction

Who doesn't have excess stuff they need to get rid of? A lot of people make money on the internet by opening up an eBay auction site and selling things from their home.

With this method, no website is needed. All you need to do is sign up for an eBay account and go from there.

I won't even pretend to be an expert on this subject. I'm an affiliate marketer at heart so I'll let the eBay experts have this one.

Speaking of experts, John Thornhill wrote a book on how to profit off eBay and become a successful PowerSeller like he did.

You may find this book useful if this is the approach you want to take. Nothing like learning from someone who has actually been there, done that.

5. Sell a Service

Are you a writer? Web programmer? Consultant? Do you perform any sort of service? If so, you can sell your services right through Elance.com.

What's cool is that Elance facilitates the entire work process from hiring to collaboration to payment. In other words, they will connect you with people who need you!

6. Dropshipping

Dropshipping is where the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and shipment information directly to wholesalers, who then ship the goods directly to the customer.

So let's say you want to sell handbags from a certain company. You would buy the products at the wholesale price, collect the money from your customs and the manufacturer then ships it to them.

WordWideBrands.com is a company that helps you do the research to find what people are buying, tells you where to buy it and finally how to sell it.

Need More Ideas?

This is just a small listing of the various ways you can make money online. You can do so much more, but these are some of the most common options.

Quick Overview of Creating a Website

Quick Overview of Creating a Website

Looking for a free website? Find out why this could be a big mistake.

There's a lot of information on this site and if you're a beginner, it can be overwhelming.  I created this quick guide just to give you an idea of what's involved with creating a website.

I encourage you to read it through once without clicking on any of the links just so you can understand the big picture.  Then after you've absorbed the info, go back and click the links for more info.
Also watch my video that provides a quick overview of what you need to begin your site.

Need Ideas? Having Trouble with Topic Choice?

While it's often tempting to choose topics where you've seen others have success, it's not always best to follow the leader.
Read about the importance of topic choice here.

What You Need to Build a Website

1) Domain Name

The domain name creates the address of your site.  So, mywebsite.com would be an example of a domain name.

Domain names are paid for yearly and you can register them here.

Looking for a FREE site?

I never endorse free webhosts.  They are too unstable, you never really own your site and you do not receive a true domain name.  Instead your address will be something like http://freesite.yourdomain.com.  In some cases, the domain may be even longer.

Read about my free website experience.

2) Web Host

A website cannot exist without a web host.  This is the company that houses your files and provides the environment for you to create and save pages to the Internet.

Web hosts are usually paid for monthly (some are yearly).

Learn the importance of choosing the right website host. Very important page!

3) Web Building Software (Optional)

Some web hosts provide website building tools so you do not need any additional software.  It's important you find out about this before you sign up with any host.

CoffeeCup & Dreamweaver are popular web editing software programs that people use to create and maintain their sites.

I used Dreamweaver to create this site.

If you don't use any software, then you will need to learn how to code HTML from scratch.  All you do is open a text editor (Notepad or BBEdit for example) and then write the HTML that will create your page. It's pretty easy to learn.

Then you save the file as filename.html and save it to the Internet through your web host.

If you're not interested in learning HTML, I'd strongly recommend downloading some of my free HTML templates and buying a software program like CoffeeCup to edit and continue building your site.

Nvu and Komposer are two free editors you can download. As you might expect, they do have some limitations (free is not always best) but they can get the job done.

Other Website Features

Want a gaming site?  Looking to create a message forum or chat room for your visitors to communicate?  Maybe you want an online guestbook where people can leave you messages on your site.

This is where it gets a little tricky but don't let it discourage you.  As the Internet matures, it's getting easier and easier to setup these kinds of things on a website.

Any kind of user interactive feature on a website requires some kind of script. A script is nothing but a file that contains a bunch of code that tells the browser how to behave.

Depending on what you want to create for your site, you'll need to go to your favorite search site (Google, for example) and search for the appropriate script (game script, message board script, etc.)  Some are free, some are not-so-free.

Say you want a message board/forum, you can go to http://www.phpbb.com and get a free message board script.  The trick is you have to install it yourself.

They do provide instructions and it really isn't that difficult but you'll need to get setup with your web host first.

Most web hosts will help you if you need some guidance and some even provide scripts to their customers for free.  Powweb and Website Palace both do.

Important!  Before you select a web host, make sure they support the kind of script and functionality you want to use.

Making Money from Your Website

More and more people are coming to the web to either make a living or earn a part-time living from a website or blog.

It's certainly possible to make a full-time living online (like me), so if that's the route you're looking for, you've come to the right place.

In fact, I've created an article that talks about the various ways you can make money online.

Outsource The Programming

If you can't seem to find a script or you don't want to learn how to install them you can go to vWorker.com and have a programmer do the work for you.  I love this site.

All you do is sign up for an account and post a job.  In a matter of minutes, programmers will begin bidding on your job with a price and you take the bid you want.

It's very safe because you pay the programmers by using PayPal.com and you don't release the money to them until you are satisfied with their work.  You can also check a coder's feedback/history before you select them.  I use them all the time!

You can even have them design your site if you wish.  Just purchase your domain and web hosting and then have one of the coders create a template for you.  They'll even install it for you.

That's website creation in a nutshell.  Now I will suggest you go to my website creation options page to further understand the importance of choosing the right kind of web host before you begin.
