Friendship is the most important aspect of an individual. Man being a social animal will need friends in each and every step of his life as friends are those who celebrate with you in the moments of joy and are present when you are suffering from sadness. Leo Buscaglia highlighted on the importance of friends as, “A single rose can be my garden… a single friend, my world.”
As Lucius Annaeus Seneca pointed out the benefit of friendship, “One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood.”
To give a deeper meaning to friendship, a man once said, “Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.”
Helen Keller once emphasized on the importance of having friends in this quote, “Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.”
