Kate Middleton: Third most beautiful royal in historyKate Middleton is officially one of the "beautiful people." Her place was confirmed by a poll on the dating website BeautifulPeople.com, which surveyed no less than 127,000 responders to judge the prettiness of the princesses.
The princess bride, who becomes British royalty when she marries Prince William, came in a notable third out of the 10 most beautiful royals in history. She placed ahead of her future husband's mother, the late Diana, princess of Wales, who ranked fourth.
Topping the poll: the iconic beauty Princess Grace of Monaco. The Oscar-winning American actress Grace Kelly was Hollywood royalty before before marrying Prince Rainier in 1956. Coming in a close second, the stunning Queen Rania of Jordan.
Rounding out the group of beauties, the young Princess Charlotte of Monaco (carrying on the beautiful gene pool) came in fifth, and the elegant Princess Masako of Japan is at number 10. (You can see the entire list here.)
On the men's side, the dreamy Prince Carl Philip of Sweden snagged first place, followed by the Fabio look-alike Prince Andrea of Monaco. Handsome Prince Harry beat out Prince William: The younger brother took fourth place while the elder brother hung on at fifth. Their father Charles, the prince of Wales brought up the rear in 10th place.
And not to be left out, ugliest royals include the green (and animated) Princess Fiona of "Shrek" and the rather rotund Henry VIII.
